I remember those half yards of ale from a pub in a Holiday Inn back in the 80s.

Once I ordered a draft beer in Mexico and it came in a mug with an upside-down shot glass of tequila in the bottom. I guess they put the mug over the shot glass and flipped it before running the beer.

You could probably drop a depth charge of tequila in the half yard, right?
