So, I'm going to Bitch Now!

So, I just need to vent.

In June i refinanced my home to pay off some revolving debt. The title company screwed up and underpaid my old mortgage. It took them 2 months to figure it out. Anyway, my old mortgate company said I could just continue making the payment until it's paid off.. fine, okay.. couple months go by and I get a "past due" notice.. wtf, my last 2 payments cleared my bank.. I called them, well, their oursourced customer service center in India, and they said they would apply the funds.. another month goes by and i receive another past due letter.. again, i call them and they say the same thing.. November payment is sent out on the 1st, come the 20th the payment hasn't cleared my bank. They say that they haven't received my payment for October.. wtf? So i tell them to send me a payoff quote and I'll jsut borrow the remainder from my parents and pay them back. They send me a letter saying they received my payment for September and October, but my october payment is still due.. wtf?? how the f*** can you receive a payment, but not receive a payment? A couple days after that i get a letter dated Nov 22nd with my check stamped the 16th saying "we cannot accept the payment because it is not certified funds." wtf? So I try to find some way of reaching them. I spend a WHOLE WEEK looking for a number that I can reach someone in the US at. Every phone number, fax, number goes to india.. It takes 2 weeks for them to respond to any of my letters, and they only do it via mail, snail mail.

Anyway, the letter I receved yesterday said that they sent a letter to the credit bureaus saying that my October payment was 'paid as agreed'.. This is after i write them a 10 page letter.. so.. they cashed my check for October, and still reported it 30 days late, but they fixed it. They sent the november payment back to me and reported it as 30 days late on my credit.. so I just finished typing another letter which will take another 2-3 weeks to receive a response battling with them that it's their own damn fault they didn't cash my payment and that they had not contact me at all stating that any of my payments needed to be certified funds.... I'm tempted to fly to FL to demand i talk to someone in person.

So, it's pretty f****** rediculous.. a company that "prides" themselves on good customer service and they have no customer service at all.. It is rediculous these companies that oursource their customer service to India, ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS...

So.. I'm done bitching..

talk about dysfunctional...that's pretty messed up. Oh the wonderful things you get to deal with when owning a house... It'll probably take longer than the 2-3 weeks to get the credit report straightened out...I worked on something similar years ago...took three months. Cyberage...WTF?

I have to dispute a wrong reporting too, but free credit report says I got one in March so I have to wait 4 months yet, cos I'm not paying to fix someone elses screwup.

i feel for ya joe, i hate all customer service calls that outsourced.

i hate banks, i hate creditors. i had a 2500$ charge +over 120 days no payments made from a credit card company i never dealt with (chase) show up on my credit report in less than a month after i had a check done for a house i rented. i found it when i went to get the wife her wedding ring with credit and was declined. long story short, every year i have to get my credit report, file more police reports to get this now $3500+ fruad off my report, due to every time debit collections sells the account to some other company to try to collect on it, they drop the fruad flag and start trying to collect on me.

i'm on year 4 now of this crap.......

what i like is my current credit card company offering the person who did fraud on me, lines of credit to pay off the that old debit, and open a new line of credit. lol.

So what is the moral of this story(ies)....Even if you do everything right, you can still get F'ed in the rear dry by so bogus credit company. They will ALWAYS believe that their accounting and recieving depts are correct and that we(consumer) are fraudulent. Its messed up and I feel for you both.
