My 1971 Datsun. I've owned this car for about 15 or so years. I am starting to get around to doing something with it, instead of letting it rot.

I need a newer pic. The intercooler piping is finished.

JR at Extreme Intercoolers swapped the throttle body end for end for me.

Modified crossmember, for the front sump pan. The engine mounts are moved back about 4", and down 2"

My only worry is the Dodge D50 transmission. I'm not sure of how much it will take to destroy it. I hear it will take about 300hp in a Starion. I hope my 1/2 a ton lighter car will ease the strain. We will see. More pics on the way.

What are your goals for this car, could be a fun little track car.

I don't really have any plans other then a street car. I will drag race it and maybe a track day at PIR but nothing more. I am hoping to run a high 11. You never know. I just got tired of the lack of power of the old reliable L series. I already had the 4G63 stuff so it seemed like a good idea. Now I am waiting to get the car from my buddys shop and into my garage to finish it. I am planning to be ready by late spring.

We're going to have to go out and terrorize the town once you get that baby going. I already have some meets I plan on "crashing" once summer hits..

i love those cars. my buddies dad is building one of those with an s15 sr20det. good luck with the build and keep us posted
