Single turbo only - 1600 hp / 2.6 liters !!!
Check out this 2.6 liter rotary engine with only one turbo. 1664 horsepower, 1158 torque !!!
You might notice that the exhaust manifold gets a bit hot but that's normal for a rotary, the reason they work so well with turbos is because what spools turbos is actually exhaust heat expansion, not just flow. Enjoy! YouTube - Queen Street Racing Quad Rotor 1664 HP !!!

Seen these cars race many times. Awesome to watch.
Heard rumors years ago that the Quad rotor had problems and kept breaking cranks. Don't know the full story. I think they have gone back to a triple rotor but could be wrong. They have a twin turbo Ferrari F-360 Modena show car as well. This is there current car.  |
