Mustang - Not a Kill
This was near the end of the summer '02. There's this local black 92 mustang (5 stars wheels, airbag, stock) who I stomped early summer. Near the end of summer I saw him, same light as the corvette (http://www.turbo-owners.com/forum/ki...-but-good.html) both times (I love that light!). I had just gone to Popeye's chicken and my girlfriend was carrying two soda pops--not good. So, we're behind traffic, and a couple blocks later it clears out, but my girlfriend knows what I'm thinking. "Don't you do it!" she shouts. So I try a 4th gear pull going 50 to try to get some "Smooth" acceleration, but not enough R's to get much boost, but he is BARELY pulling on me, just inching away, but I know if I grabbed a better gear my girlfriend would have soda pop all over her. So I back off and let him go. I turn on my signal to turn down my street and he sticks his arm out the window and gives me the thubs down. Ohhhh!! That made me so mad. I know i'm much faster, but that's like a honda passing me when I'm parked and turning on his hazard flashers like he won.
