I think *most* Honda guys would be more attracted to an option like "Advanced TOHC 5-stage i-VTEC"

Exclamation

Watch out, those honda's have SO MUCH power that their tin foil frames might twist.

hahaha i think hondas catch phrase should be:

Sure we have a 4 cylinder engine
Ok so all our cars combined dont make over 300 hp
Yea the frames are made out of tin foil
But at least we get 40 mpg

To be fair i will give credit to any well done honda or acura but lets face facts most hondas and acuras are owned by kids who just got their licence and think the fast and the furiouse is the holy grail of tuning knowledge.

oh yea its awesomly shitty looking,

I had a auto class last semester and there was this honda civic kid and he painted his rims white.

Week later painted them black

he took out his power steering pump ( lol ) and his ac and has a carbon fiber hood

Power steering weighs 10 pounds max with all stuff out i can see y the ac but who cares i would always keep my ac

oh and he claims that his car can go from 0-60 in 4 seconds LOL that is what got me the most LAWLS. He knows he has 180hp at the flywheel but apparently he thinks his car wieghs 200 pounds

That's exactly it.

I will admit that I have seen some very nice Honda's and Acura's in my days, but the vast majority of modified Honda's are usually half-assed by inexperienced individuals. A Honda can be built well if it's done by the right set of hands. Would I personally build a Honda Civic that runs 10's? No; it's just not my taste. But it can be done and there are plenty of skilled people that work on them. But lots of young kids that are approaching their licensed statuses and are just starting to become interested in the mechanics of cars tend to think that the bone stock base model 90's Civic that their parents bought for them is some Fast and Furious street-racing machine, and they generally start modifying them tastelessly with an all-show-and-no-go approach.
