Thats why I was rocking the cheap Rampage CD player in my first car. It was an 88 Integra and the driver door didn't lock. The only time someone did break in they went in through the passenger side and f'd that lock up too, that made me the maddest, not losing my 35 dollar deck.

That reminds me of when my XR4Ti was broken into. They stole 2 cases of tapes and my deck lid (cover over the hatch) with my cheap ass Audiovox 6 x 9's in it. This was back when Cassette tapes were more used than CDs. I had 2 tape case with about 25 tapes each but all of the cassette cases were empty. The thing that bothered me the most was that they broke the window to get in.

What are these caaasssette tapes you refer to? I understand iPodanese only
I hear ya Joe...I apparently left a door unlocked one night back when I lived in an apartment complex out in Orchards...they took all my CD's I had in the car, tried to steal the stereo (pried the face off and must have thought they broke it) and a speaker box with a couple of JL 10" W6's. I was pissed that my shit got jacked, but felt better that they didn't break anything getting in. They passed on a SnapOn drill and 3/8 cordless impact gun, as well as my Fluke 88 meter which tells me it was kids that really didn't know what that stuff was. Oh well... I'm now switching over to iPod in-car...I've got an interface on back order for my Pioneer stereo that will help me eliminate carrying CD's in my car forever. I likes!!

But they left my case of CD's on the seat which really confused me.

They did the same thing to me which gets me wondering if it is just a bunch of punk kids doing this. On a positive note...I got my car in the shop to replace the window and regulator. I would do it myself but I had just got wisdom teeth pulled and I dont feel 100% yet. the fix is gonna cost me $280 dollars.
