Just bought my car

Hey guys I just bought my car a couple weekends ago...here is a pic from the drive home....in total i spent 28 straight hours of driving and loading/unloading parts, the car should be done soon!!!!



here are my mods to date:

custom downpipe(eliminates front precat and main cat), tanabe super medalion catback, underive pulley, short shifter, rfl bov, chrome y-pipe, accel spark plug wires, brembo big brake kit, one-piece cfds, tein FLEX with Tein EDFC, 99 lifters, act clutch, fidanza flywheel, solid motor mounts

lol yea we ran into a bad snow storm on the way home...its ok tho cuz she is getting a new paint job after the 99 conversion is done...

Sweet ride I have to say. Black cars always look the best too. I have a buddy that has a 99 and it is sweeet.

Yea i love the look of the 99 vr4s....most of the mods I got came brand new with the car and a full 99 was part of it...minus the 2nd gen side skirts so I am looking for those now

That looks like a great car. I'd like to see it closer up after the paint job.

By the way, are you in a rural area there where you have to take it on gravel roads?

lol no I live just south of Indianapolis so i wont be near many gravel roads....and after the paint job I wont go near gravel.

I just took some more pics from the barn where I have been workin on the car....the motor is getting dropped in tomorrow!!!!!

That reminds me. I finally had a chance to take a look at some 9b turbos.. WOW.. those are teeny turbos, I can't believe they put 2 of those on the 3000GT... It was the 9b off of my 87 Colt Turbo.

Really neat cars! I've always liked them and am still kicking myself for not picking up a VR4 Spyder when I had the chance!

I fell in love with them when I was a sophomore in HS. Had a buddy who had a friend that had one, but it was an SL. Got to ride around in it and the chicks really dug it. It's okay, I didn't know shit about cars anyway.. it was just a good lookin' car.
