Multiple throttle bodies

I am just finishing up a manifold that mounts 20V Toyota Corrolla throttle bodies to a Ford SVO 4 cylinder. Anyone seen or heard of people doing this? Any known issues on the Ford motor?

i don't think it would be a problem, but what are you going to use to control fuel? You'll have to recalibrate the TPS output to compensate for the air flow at different TP%.

I guess if it's using a MAF setup it wouldn't be that bad.. the problem I've seen with just going with larger throttlebodies is at 15% throttle the larger TB is going to allow more air through than the smaller Tb at 15%.

I would like to see that. Have you made any progress on it? Take any pics?

Joe,

I was going to run everything on a Megasquirt. I have setup two of them now and they are getting pretty easy. Since I am adapting the Toyota throttle bodies with there manifold to the SVO block all the injectors and fuel system comes with it. Just have to hook up a couple of lines.

I will post up a couple of pics of the solid model this evening.

Tuning that would be a bitch! You would need to have a good grasp on throttle postition tuning.;

Its actually really easy. They have a factory Toyota TPS right on the end. They are all tied together with one uniform linkage pull right in the center.

Just a heads up on this as the manifold should have been cut already. The computer the model is on suffered a severe failure when an electrician I had working on the house accidently disconnected power to it......while I was working on it. Now I have to wait for it to be repaired and hope the model is still there.

Alright everything is sorted and I was able to do a little more measuring. The adapter got thinner now. I just need to clean a couple of things up and I will start making chips. I do have a question and Joe should be able to answer this. The water jacket on the intake side between the two middle intake ports. Can this be blocked off or do I need to run water through there?

I have seen some aftermarket intakes that look like they block it off.
