Vehicles, Engines and Turbocharging Options

Since there is a large variety vehicles the members of Turbo-Owners.com own and modify I feel this would be a good thread to talk about options when it comes to vehicles and engines. There are many people looking to buy and/or modify a car that they can upgrade or turbocharge and I think a thread with a wide variety of vehicle/engine combos would be a great help. I feel this thread would be a very good resource to help decide which direction to go.

This thread is for those that have extensive experience around a specific vehicle or engine that can discuss the potential of factory turbocharged vehicles and NA applications that respond well to turbocharging.

I would like the posts to be as complete as possible and possibly include the following info such as power handling capability of the stock drivetrain, transmission, differential, axles, etc. When I say stock, Minor engine modifications such as upgraded head gasket, head bolts, or a fresh engine, pretty much anything short of pulling the engine. Pros and Cons of the vehicle, common problems, reliability at different power levels, etc. Aftermarket Support, Is it limited or is there a ton of aftermarket support? Are performance parts cheap or costly? Cost of ownership, such as maintinance, replacement parts, common part failure, and initial investment (estimated cost to buy vehicle). Are there common mistakes that people make when modifying? Also include any information that you would recommend to anybody that is considering buying and modifying the vehicle.

Please do not have any discussions in this thread. Create a reply with the Title as the vehicle (years, engine, etc) or just the engine if it's a common swap option. If you would like a discussion, please start a new thread and notify the person you would like to have the discussion with to have the thread/post updated.
