Im not using a 1UZ anymore for my 300zx, im putting in a VH45DE instead, and i gonna twin turbo it later somehow. and yes its been done ,go find the 300zx vh45dett on youtube its awesome.
But i been doing a ton of research and the vh45 is much better then the 1uz, sure the 1uz has more aftermarket but the vh45's internals can hold more horsepower, i can get 540 hp on stock injectors, thats nuts, i wont be doing any mods to the engine other then cams for when i drop it in. |

The Engine is coming from a infiniti Q45 from the 90's,
I alrdy gonna get the adapter plate to mate the z32 5 spd with the vh45. Gonna have to make custom Motor mounts, the only clearence issue i can think of is the hood, because of how tall the stock intake is. Its just going to take a ton of thinking and patience. Custom harness I thinking about twin turboing it , but thats after eveything is done and running for several months. |

I've been planning this swap into my M30 for a while now. If your going to use the Z32 crossmember your going to need a rear-sump oil pan. My car has a front sump like the G50 so I'm going to simply use the Qs cross-member(I should only have to drill 4 holles at most to get it in).

As far as wiring goes, are you going w/ a standalone or adapting the stock to the z? The guy on nico that did the swap in an s14 said he only had to run 8 wires w/ the vh harness to get it working.

im still stuck on the ECU part, maybe standalone maybe rewiring not sure yet, standalone would be easier ( most of the time ) but the cost!!!! if someone has done the wiring for the VH45 to the stock z32 electronics then i would do that if he hold me how
