Clutch attempt Version 2.0
Well, after calling a few shops, I decided to take another crack at the install. Last week I attempted to install my new Southbend DxD clutch kit. All I accomplished was breaking off 5/6 exhaust studs. I went in with a running car with bad clutch. I came out with a running car with bad clutch and a massive exhaust leak.We were at teh auto hobby shop and had major time constraints. Yesterday a friend came over and we put her up on jackstands in my garage. After about 7 hours of work, I have to say we made much more progress than last time. We still have to get the flywheel & precats off. I need to replace the rear main seal, install downpipes, and put in the new Fidanza flywheel with DxD clutch kit.
