My tbi turbocharged 95 burb project

Hi, Just wanted to get all the help possible, several months ago somewhere here on the site, I was talking about this project evolution. My 95suburban now has a blow through turbo set up. I am encountering just what about half of the responses indicated, that is, when the throttle body gets boost., the one bar map is confused, does not understand this, and it falls flat on its face, not enough fuel, and I am further told that in order to get the thing to know what positive pressure is in the intake, I am going to have to rewire another ecm, and have it programmed to suit the system, as the stock 95 gm tbi computer can not handle any more than the 1bar, which, is sea leavel barometric pressure, so any boost at all, she is not getting enough fuel, I think gaslite said to run a fmu, I have, but I think that I can piggy back something onto the stock computer to handle the boost condition. THis it what I have heard. I hope someone has something for me , as this is where I am headed. \
I did not design this to race, I wanted it to be a hauler for my toys, in other words, I figure with 6 lbs boost,and properly set up, I could get around a car here at 6000 ft above sea level in less than a mile on the highway, Jack

Well, the FMU should be able to add all the fuel you need when your manifold goes into positive pressure. One thing you can do is install a one-way check valve between the manifold and the map sensor. When you're under vacuum the map sensor will get a vacuum reading but once you go into pressure, the check valve will close and the map sensor will get a 0 vacuum/pressure reading, but the FMU will start raising the pressure at the fuel rail to compensate for the positive pressure.

Will the stock gm injector stand for 50 lbs? I am told it will shut down under more pressure. Are you speaking of the fuel inlet as the fuel rail? I was told this by a gm tbi rebuilder. Jack

Well, there is a point where fuel pressure will keep an injector closed but it is usually pretty high (over 100psi).
