exhaust size...

I there, i'm going for a bigger turbo on my car and aiming for the 300whp... Of course i'm gonna run it with a standalone and fuel mod that supports the power. But I don't know wich size to build my exhaust!? Was thinking of 2,5 or 3 inchs... Thanks

you wont need 3 inch exhaust for 300whp, 2.5 would do just fine all the way up to 450. . But if you have true dual exhaust then you can go to almost 600hp with 2.5. anything higher go 3

2.5" is the way to go. Nice deep tone, flows very well, and like czecho said, you can see well over 300whp with it.

Eh I'd get the 3 inch, it won't hurt. Plus if you decide to try for more power latter you get the benefit of the extra flow. Power is a funny thing, the more we get the more we want. Believe me 300WHP is only entertaining for so long, dependent on the car of course. But unless where talking a Fiat 500, you'll get used to that power, then get bored. And unless you have a super tiny engine and turbo, there will be a small power increase from the larger piping.

What about a 2.4L with 3" downpipe with no cats, and a 3" exhaust?

Well, eventually I will have more than 300whp after I resolve some issues, but right now, that sounds like perfect description of me. And no, it doesn't sound like a big whistle; it sounds much, much worse.

Well, I bought the exhaust because it outperforms all the others. Personally, it's far too loud for my tastes. I used to roll around with my 3" downpipe fed straight into the stock exhaust. It sounded good that way
