What I do

Really didn't know any other way to introduce myself,so here goes.

I'm the 2nd Gen.Supra Geek.I mostly build wiring for custom swaps, usualy the 7mge/gte into the MKII Supra.I also can/have/will wire up other Toyotas.

I prefer to build add on sub-harness,so,if for whatever reason, the car could be brought back to original.

PacNW guys,I can arrange for just about any type of work or custom parts, though I don't heavily advertise.I'm not competing against the known shops,no need to

For the 2nd gen. cars,I start with these

End up with pretty much this

The Add-on is the only way to go...I wouldn't want to have my harness all chopped up. Thanks for sharing your info Shawn!

Mine,1/2 done --- enough if it was a 5 speed

Mark,EVERYTHING works.Any idle ups the ECU ask for,any signals I "think" the car or ECU may want get's hooked in.I know I could do it with less, but I refuse. The gaol has always been to be as close as possible to what Toyota would have built, without taking any of the stock harness apart.
With these installed, the car supports, plug and play ----5m,6m,7m,7mgte,with the correct corresponding electronics.
As far as I know,so far I am the ONLY person that has done every combo of mkiii electrics to every year mkii. The addition of auto trans stuff is the only "new" addition in recent times.Had to learn that, for myself

Wow...great work Shawn! I really like your emphasis on everything working as intended...it makes it so much more appealing to just do a full 7M swap in a 5M car...now I wish I would have held onto all those 7M parts I slowly sold off or lost in the last few years. I would have had a complete everything to do a 7M-ATM swap...that would be a nice cruiser of an old MX73 car
