turbocharged Subaru SVX owner

Hi guys,

I was cruising the web looking for information on upgrading my current rig and came across this site. I have a one-off single turbo system for my 1992 subaru svx.
First of all here is a little background info on my car:

the EG33 is a 3.3L flat six, 10:1 compression 3319L/202CI engine. It is a 4-cam 24 valve motor, with a chain driver exhaust setup. Its an open deck configuration with nicely stout sleeves. The turbo setup has 4k of hard miles, but the turbo is horribly mis-sized. I have a t3/t04E 57 trim turbo with a .63 a/r exhaust housing. It really chokes off badly. It is what I had to work with at the time, but its time to upgrade.

The car has also been converted using a 5spd 4.11 from a forester. This was done prior to turbocharging and dropped the car to the mid to high 14's from 15's.

With the current turbo, the car ran a 14.3@96mph. This is at 3.5 psi You may ask why only 3.5 psi. With boost set higher the car chokes out horribly at wot. I am currently mulling over upgrade options, and believe I have settle on a 60-1 fan with T3 exhaust(the main reason I am here is to mull over a .63 or .82 housing). I have not been able to find turbo owners running low boost levels (6-10psi) with roughly my engine size to compare.

Anyways, here are some pics of my rig:

Thanks for listening, and I look forward to contributing,
Phil

I am using ECUTune.com chipped ECU. The SVX has a JEC's based ecu much like the z32. The ecue is reprogrammed to use a Z32 MAF and injectors. I also have a small disc in the RR for good luck. In car wide-band shows in the 11's under full throttle. I have the new .82 T3 / 60-1 all ready to go in, just need some time :/
