Nice set of rides you got going on there.. You still have the previous rides?
the 2JZ, is that in a MKIV, or transplant into something else?

All previous rides are either sold or stolen, but were still fun building, especially the 7mgte 4runner/rockcrawler...
And yes, the 2jz will be going in a MKIV... Most likely a non turbo, But I'm building a motor/drivetrain before I buy the body/shell so I don't compromise on the performance aspects trying to get something rolling. Motor is almost done, just picked up a new wiring harness... hopefully have a rolling chassis this summer and able to make late night drags! |

I've owned several Toyota MKIII turbos, still own two although one is currently engineless. Have had three different Buick turbos. Had a Dodge IROC VNT for a while. Also have a new Pontiac Grand Prix GTP as my driver as well. Forced induction FTW!

oh yah, forgot to mention the 1987 MK3 Supra.. it's the car we test fit our intercooler and turbo kits on.. we were thinking about just hacking off the front half and just using the front clip..

why turbos?
With all the talk of not wasting energy these days, how could you not go with turbocharged power. Everything else is wasting energy out the exhaust. Looking forward to gaining more turbo knowledge from people here. Maybe then I can get my stealth to run in the 10's.

Hello,
I have owned about 20 vehicles, mostly turbo. All the ones that were NA were slow. And all the ones that were fast cam go even faster with a big turbo. So that's why. Congrats on the forum, good luck. |
